Preparing for Your First Visit
If you have previous scans, X-rays, or medical reports related to your concern, you are welcome to bring them along. They can provide helpful background information but are not required.
Please also bring a list of any medications you take and a general overview of your medical history. Comfortable clothing is recommended, such as gym wear or loose trousers, as part of the visit involves assessing how your body moves.
What Happens During the First Appointment
The first appointment typically takes 30 to 45 minutes and includes both assessment and care.
Your visit begins with a discussion about your symptoms, how they started, and how they affect your daily activities. Work routines, hobbies, and previous injuries can all provide useful information.
A physical examination follows, where Dr. Abbas will observe how you stand, walk, bend, and move. Orthopaedic or neurological tests may also be used to better understand joint movement, strength, and nerve function.

Before any hands-on care begins, the findings are explained clearly so you understand what may be contributing to the issue and what the next steps will involve. Care may include spinal adjustments, manual therapy, mobility work, or guided exercises depending on your needs.
Your Second Visit
The second visit usually lasts 30 minutes and focuses on progress. Dr. Abbas will check how you felt after the first appointment, reassess movement, and continue care.
Home exercises or stretches may be adjusted to support continued improvement between visits.
Fees and Insurance
Fees are explained before any examination or care begins so there are no surprises. Miss Julie will review consultation costs and answer any questions you may have. Fees are comparable with other clinics in the area, and receipts can be provided for insurance claims where applicable.
